Nothing is more effective than simple word of mouth to get an idea across. That’s why it’s so important to have personal conversations with friends and family. We all know people that are intelligent and hardworking, but not interested in or a good fit for a 4 year degree. Teaching them that there are great career opportunities regardless of their level of education can have an immensely positive impact on their future.

It’s also productive to discuss the construction trades with other parents or teachers. One of the biggest things holding people back from encouraging their kids down this lucrative career path are the unfair and untrue stigmas associated with construction and trade schools as a whole. By creating a dialogue we can start to break down those barriers that exist in people’s minds.

Last, but not least, we need your continued support to keep building a better future for Minnesota. We are reliant on donations to keep getting the message out, and each dollar helps. Not able to contribute financially right now? We could use volunteers for future events and education job fairs. You can make a donation here,or email info@projectbuildmn.org if you’re interested in volunteering.
