President’s Perspective

Investing In The Future

Take a moment to consider the many ways that you and your business invest in the future. You upgrade your equipment, provide staff training, maintain insurance on people and property, and set dollars aside for unseen challenges. Wise investing pays dividends.

Planning ahead is a key strategy of business success. Project Build Minnesota is committed to planning ahead to provide increased construction workforce development and career education.

This summer, our BIG FISH fundraising drive is seeking donations of $500 from construction leaders and businesses to help fund the important work being done to promote lifelong careers in the construction industry. Please consider making a $500 deductible donation online at www.projectbuildmn.org/donate.

Project Build Minnesota is rapidly becoming a major state-wide voice in promoting construction career workforce development. You have our promise that every dollar raised will go to help increase awareness of trade careers in the construction industry. Now that’s a wise investment!

Tom Getzke, 2019 President, Project Build Minnesota

Announcements
Project Build is on YouTube

Project Build Minnesota has officially started a YouTube channel. Be sure and check it out and subscribe so you’ll see our future videos as well. We will be launching a YouTube advertising campaign later this year to target youth who are on the platform.

Big Fish Campaign

PBM is out looking for Big Fish in the construction industry and we need your help. We are kicking off a fundraising campaign and our goal will be to raise $100,000 from 200 contributors. The money will help fund conducting training programs, attending career fairs, attending and participating in professional conferences, classroom visits with students, core construction training program, tour and learn visits, the website, social media, parent education programs, lunches with students, trade show marketing, creative services, advertising & marketing, direct mail programs about careers in the trades, and brochures and marketing literature to name a few.

When you receive the invitation, please take the time to read it and, more importantly, take the time to donate the $500 and be a Big Fish. Remember Project Build Minnesota is a 501c3 which means your contribution is tax deductible and every dollar you contribute to PBM goes to fund initiatives designed and inspire a new generation of young Minnesotans to join the construction industry.
